From What place?
This morning I was reading a response from a pastor about Ferguson. I have purposely not said much about this, because I didn't feel like I agreed with either extreme and simply chose to only repost a short tweet, that I did agree with. "Not all cops are bad,Not all black people are criminals, and not all white people are racists, stop labeling, its 2014, lets get equal" It wasn't deep but I felt it spoke truth.
This morning I began my morning by reading a post by a man, that i respect and enjoy reading very much who said that "the begging point is that you are loved. That is the foundation That before you do anything, start by believing you are loved and deeply loved." This is a truth that is truly the starting place for all of us. I then read a few passages from the Course in Miracles and wow! The ACIM stated that a brother's insanity is an opportunity to bless and that our response to another, says what we believe about ourselves. How we see a brother, is also how we see ourselves. So if we can't love or bless our brother, it is because we do not see ourselves or others as God see us.
So whether we are talking about a police officer who shot and killed a young, or a young man who robbed and assaulted a police officer, or a person who looted, destroyed someone else property, or someone who pre judges another based on skin color or another characteristics, we are observing a broken persons insanity that needs love and restoration. We are observing the ego (false broken identity) at work where the true identity and image of Christ needs to be restored.
This world needs restoration, Love, Forgiveness and Truth. Most are living under the illusion of Fear, anger and hate. It does not matter what religion you ascribe to, it only matters from what place you live. What is your response to the need of this world and the people you touch. If its judgment, fear, and anger, this says a lot about how you see yourself and others and you too need a restoration. We all need to observe how we respond to life and then allow the Holy Spirit to restore us back to Love and Christ.
It matters not how others treat me, it matters only how I treat them.....for this speaks volumes about from where I am living from....
Peace.

This really speaks volumes about what people say, because ultimately, we speak from our core, that is who we are. But when there are people broken who speak, the brokenness or fragmented soul gets in the way and things that are said, or come out in action are not truth, but a cry for help. I am not sure if this makes any sense but I did want to confirm with you Mike the absolutely wonderful message you just shared. Thank you for sharing.
