He who comes in the Name of the Lord- Happy Palm Sunday

I loved this video about Palm Sunday, done in a cleaver way. Check it out! Today is Palm Sunday- the day that Christ tipped his hand to reveal who he was and his purpose. Everyone sang his praises until it later became apparent that his purpose and salvation would not be accomplished the way they thought. This makes me understand two very important truths! First: Boy can we get it wrong a lot! Second: God's way is not our way but it is always the best and right way. Nothing says PRIDE more than the assumption that we know better. We do this with each other, and even more grievous we do it with God. Now I don't know of anyone who would out and out say, they know better than God but our actions, choices and attitudes do speak very loud in this area. I recently came to a revelation about my own life, but only after what I had been doing for quite sometime wasn't working. You know the famous insanity quote from Einstein, that when you do the same thing over and over expecting different results- thats called insanity. Well I fell into that category, and was reminded of this fact when i went to God about my life. Thankfully God is a God of fresh starts or do-overs. So today I am singing Hosanna to the Highest, because of the wonderful God, I serve, but endeavor to allow God to make the changes necessary in my life to bring about God's purpose and not mine, because God's plan far exceeds mine in every way! Its great to sing God's praises but even better to follow God's lead. Peace!
