Raw Faith

Last night during my prayer time, the Lord began to deal with me about the early Christians. After the death burial and resurrection of Jesus they had to simply follow the last command they had received to go to Jerusalem and wait for the Holy Spirit.

They had no idea what "Christian Living, Church, or Ministry" would look like. Allthey had was the example and teachings of Jesus. Which was all they needed. I think we sometimes get so caught up in traditions, ideas and patterns that we have had passed down to us. Not that all of these should be thrown out....but what needs to happen is we need to get back to the simple message and example of Christ and allow the Holy Spirit to lead us from their.

What got me here was I was meditation on my ministry and asking the Lord for direction because I don't like not knowing where I am going. He gently reminded me that is right where he wants me and this is raw faith!

You may not know where you are going or how you are going to get there....but you can rest in Him where you are now and know that He will lead you from here......
