The Desire of God

NYou often hear the phrase "Will of God" in Christian circles. Some say you can never know. Some claim to know it exclusively. Others base it on their very limited  literal translation of scripture or teachings of their faith tradition or church. But what is the will of God?

The word Will means wish, desire, choice, purpose or pleasure. What is the desire of God. When we fall short of what we desire. Many things we blame on God, by blindly saying it is God's Will, displays our lack of understanding the nature and character of God.

I am convinced for many this blaming game is simply our way of shirking responsibility. After all if we can blame God or the devil then it must not be any of our own fault.

However, God is love, and as this is who God is, it should be rather simple to know that God's desire, purpose and pleasure is for a lot more i. Our life than what many of us live daily.  In order to walk in the abundance of Love and Life of God, we must stop blaming God, the devil and or others and take responsibly for our own state.

What is responsibility? It is simply our ability to respond to what life is throwing at us at this moment. If I respond by accepting it as it is, face it with faith in God's Love, wisdom and supply and make the best choices I can at that moment, I will see things start working for my good, because this brings pleasure to God, for those is the Will of God, for us to prosper and have a good life and future.

I am determined to live life, trusting the abundance of all things in my life, because God is Love and I am the object of this Love, and so are you!
