Judgement

Whenever we judge somebody, we are in effect saying, " I am better than you" when in fact we are judging ourselves and revealing our own lack, weakness and fear.

It is human nature to want to be more. Because down deep we know we are supposed to be more and surely there is more than what Life seems to be. The good news is it is and we are. At the very essence we are more than the body we live in or the thoughts we think, or the definition or label that we have constructed through the years by the messages we and others have given us. At our most basic,in our essence we are spirit, we are life. when we live from our heart, our core (spirit) we are living our true life and it is this kind of life that brings the abundance of love, peace, joy. When we live from the identity of what others have labeled us or by the messages we have given ourselves or by others through the hurts, pain, shame and fear we are living from a false self the ego. Living from this identity we look at the world and others through judgement and fear. Many times, this even leads to a view of God, as a judgmental angry God who desires to punish and destroy anything that is not the way he wants.

Jesus came to shatter all of this error. He came to correct it. He came to reveal and introduce us to God as a loving parent who forgives our errors, provides for our every need and patiently teaches us how to live an abundant life full of loving relationships. He taught us the value of all people, to love them as God loves us.

Jesus taught to judge not.....but to love! When we judge ourselves or others, whether in the name of religion or not, we re not living from our true selves, that is created in the likeness of God, but we re living from our false selves that was created in fear. It takes a lot of energy to keep up this false self or ego. However, to live from our true selves all we need do is abide in Christ. As Christ taught, He is the vine we are the branches, when we look to him and live from Him, we can't help but live abundantly, because his life, our true life flow through us.......

Give love instead of judgement! Thankfully God wants us all to receive his Love not his judgement. God is for us not against us!

No one is more than another. We all Our God's children.
