Jeremiah 11: 28- 14
Everybody has lost direction or gotten off course. However, in life this brings about dis- appoint-ment. In other words we miss the Appointment that God has for us. This scripture today, reminds us that God is committed to us arriving at this place for our lives. God is committed to getting us on trck, in fact Christ said that His purpose in life was to bring us into the Life that we were created for. John 10:10
Below are some key thoughts that the Spirit brought to my heart today, when reading:
1.)Back Home- the place of belonging, purpose and security, authenticity and safety.
Home is that place were we belong, where we rest in the security and safety it provides. It is also the place where we can be ourselves, because those there know us and accept us and therefore love us the most.
2.) Care- attend to one's needs, heal their wounds and hurts. Replenish their strength and supply.
When we are weak, sick or wounded is when we need care. We need someone to provide food, medicines, healing and strengthen our bodies and spirits. God has promised this care, if we look to God and trust.
3.) plan- present course of action, intention leading to a future destination purpose and effect.
God's purpose and fulfillment for our lives. It does not take away, but adds more than we can think or imagine!
4.) presence- call, look you will find me. I Am here!
God will never leave us or forsake us, even we we turn our backs on God, God is still faithful! Patiently waiting.
5.) disappointment- (dis- appoint- ment) you will not miss your purpose, your appointment with my plan. God will provide the grace and resource you need for your journey, every step of the way.
6.) Turn around- alter your course, reverse the curse. Back on track
7.) Restoration- I will bring you back! It's Me that will do it, I Am your Source. Return what you thought was lost.
8.) You can count on it- I give you My Word!
Now this is not to say God will complete our plan, because our plan usually settles for less than what we were born for. This is all about God's plan, which far surpasses what we can think or imagine! Ephesians 3:20
