Thankful for what I have and my soul does not belong to Apple!

Black Friday, Super Cyber Monday....my email is again overloaded with too many ads. And this only after a too short time since political ads.

I feel like breaking into the Abba song, " money, money,money..."

The sermon yesterday,in church was on gratitude. This is the season of being Thankful for what we do have. The big marketing machine is trying to bombard us with all the things we don't have,and can't live without. What they do not tell you, is that the latest gadget, phone, game will be obsolete in a matter of months. But, don't worry, they will be there for you, with it's new replacement 2.0 or 2.0 gs 4.

My advice, that I am taking is this.....shut off the noise, take inventory of what I already have, be grateful for the things money can't buy, and enjoy Life.

I also plan to use my resources to help others, instead of helping the greedy marketers.

Now, i am a tech geek, myself....I love my phone and gadgets, but everything must be put in its place, and my soul does not belong to apple!
